Frank added the mileage up of our first overnight trip with 2 kids. 650 miles round trip (lots of zig zagging around the White Mountains for a 10 year high school reunion). BUT I'd say that.....
Having Papa there to help keep Charles happy at 11:30 at night,
introducing a great grandson to his great grandmother,
watching my husband interact with people he went to high school with 10 years ago (we missed some of the regulars - saw some of the regulars - and got to catch up with lots of the far away friends),

finding some very successful puke deodorizing products for the car AND most importantly teaching Maelee how to successfully go to the bathroom on the side of the road after about 20 failed attempts was well worth the drive!
