December played out as follows:
We got our Christmas decorations up on November 30th because we were so stinking excited.
We had a neighborhood graham cracker ginger bread house making party.
We wowed the Bushman cousins with our 8$ Christmas train at FHE.
Maelee had her first 2009 encounter with Santa at our ward Christmas party. She was terrified until Chuck sat on his lap first, then she was cool with Santa.
Had a fun girls night Christmas party. Hooray for Christmas dishes I got as a gift from my Mom when we got married!
Of course we built a Christmas snowman family with Ariel.
Charles practiced being the jolliest Santa ever with a hat that was supposed to be for babies but it turns out one size does not fit Chuck.
Maelee got another visit from Santa at my Grandma's killer Santa party. I got in on the Santa action that night too.
Here are my grandparents with all the greats sitting and all the regular grands younger than 12 standing. Don't look so excited next time P&K.
The Bushman kids saw Charlie sitting on Frank and couldn't resist the urge to join in. He was not OK with it and they wouldn't get off. Funny stuff.
This is Maelee's Christmas doll. She named her Monica after a sweet little girl she met once in the library and asks about every time we have gone back since.
And lastly it was a sad day on New Year's Eve when I took the tree down but managed to get this awesome picture of the kids admiring it one last time.
