Stupendous September

September 2009 went a little something like this:
Of course we kicked it off with a super fantastic Labor Day family camping trip. Frank fed Charles some of his first rice cereal. He is one of those parents that move their mouths in unison with the child learning to use the spoon. It works.
We had a wonderful time with our cousins playing toys and painting.

We discovered that Charlie is a hair puller,

AND that Maelee loves gigantic chocolate chip cookies.

Chloe wanted to dress it up a little for a change so she slipped on Charlie's Sunday tie. It's nice that she is finally taking a little more interest in her appearance.

One very sad day for Charlie has been captured in the picture below. I was feeding him and Maelee started to put stickers on his head. It was cute - I didn't stop her. When it was time to remove the dozen or so smiley face stickers later on I realized that not only were they super sticky stickers but that the small amount of hair that Charles had on his head made it extra painful for them to be removed. Not smart Mom, not smart.

This is Frank and Charles enjoying opening game day for FSU. If I remember right we were able to listen to this game on the radio. It was an exciting day.

Maelee also discovered the awe inspiring power of a band aid. A boring moment one morning was instantly changed when a fake injury was created and tiny band aid on her right foot cured it.

Love the Chloe pic and comment!:) So funny! And the stickers on Charles' head? Yeah, I'd probably have done the exact same thing!!:) Glad you got a pic--he'll love that when he's older! Then he can see just how much Maelee "loved" him!:)

Great Pics, I really liked the one of Poncho moving his lips while he was feeding Charles. I find my self still doing that when I try to get Kail to eat something he's really not that into. Talk to you guys soon...
