Fancy Pants

Mel and Dave came over on Friday! Woo hoo! We love the Dishman's! We had planned on going to see Christmas lights but never made it past Barro's, chocolate covered pretzels, "tempter" cookies, and stimulating conversation. They are very sweet and thoughtful and gave Maelee and Chloe their Christmas presents. Maelee got an awesome keepsake ornament and Chloe a very squeaky and cute snowman. As you can see they both enjoyed opening their presents.

Then we got to double dip and hang out with the Dishmans again at the company Christmas party. We get excited because its a formal affair and we get to have a fancy diner. We both put on our fancy pants (which for me meant actually turning the lights on to apply my makeup and sitting closer than 4 feet away from the mirror like I usually do) and arrived at the Biltmore for our evening of Christmas partying. Since I worked for the same company that Frank did for 3 years its exciting that I know people there as well. This is the first of the many pictures I made Frank and those around us take. I am sure it was obnoxious but they will all thank me later...much later probably.

Mel and I after diner.

Me, Frank, Dave & Mel at our table during the meal.

One of my hero's Sharon DeBolt.

The fancy Martha Stewartesk center piece. The fancy salad.

The fancy desert that I could have eaten 4 (or so) more of. (The actual meal was good too but I forgot to take a picture before I ate it).

It was an awesome night and we had a very nice time. It was our first time away for a whole evening from Maelee. Grammy did awesome of course as the world class grandbaby watcher that she is and I only looked at the phone once or twice to make sure we hadn't missed any calls. Oh and Frank even asked me to dance, something that I can't remember him doing since DeWy & Tawni's reception 4 years ago! Yeah for our 1 time a year to put on our fancy pants!

Hi Kamarah! I went to high school with Frank and Jamie and I was so happy to see your blog on Jamie's blog so I could check out some pictures. I knew your older sister for just a sec when I went to NAU and I think you both are just gorgeous! You have a beautiful family! Tell Frank hi for me!
