Jammin June

Since July is almost over I figure I had better post our June. Of course Maelee turned 2 which we already posted about. Hooray for birthday decorations, party hats, special cupcakes and people we love coming to party at our house.

Along with June being Maelee's birthday month. It was the month of Playdo. Maelee likes to build (or boss us to build it for her) snowmen, snakes, cars for her peoples, chairs for her peoples, swing sets for her peoples, toilets for her peoples, etc. No play time activity is complete without some of Maelee's peoples.

I convinced Frank to let me Make Maelee's birthday doll house. They sell this wooden shell at Michaels and it was so fun to decorate it. Maelee loves it but is a little disappointed that the front door doesn't open.

Maelee got to visit her first splash pad for Ashlee's birthday party. She was in heaven.

Maelee got a special good morning visit from her Cluff cousins. Two of her favorite women without a doubt. Especially since they treat her like a queen and are very agreeable playmates. Note the tea set party.

On Father's Day we grilled hamburgers since Frank they are Frank's favorite. He asked me to make him a giant hamburger bun. Wish granted.

In honor of Father's Day we also had killer cinnamon rolls for breakfast, in which I did not skimp on the cinnamon. Maelee and I were given these adorable matching Sunday dresses from our favorite seamstress.

And Charles did a whole lot of sleeping. I do not remember Maelee being this sleepy or hard to wake up as my Charlie boy. It made for some good quality Playdo time though, so I got lots of practice perfecting the Cookie Monster sized Playdo toilet.
