Tips:Guilt Free Baking & The Pillow Case Dress

Cookies make me happy. When I make time to bake it is a good thing for me because it helps me relieve stress. Unfortunately it also makes me feel guilty for eating so much of what I bake. So I have found that the best trick to enjoying the baking of cookies is to remove them from the cookie sheets as soon a possible and place them on a plate so that no one (including myself) can count the missing spots on the cookie sheet. It is also the reason I think that cookie jars were invented so that really there is no way of knowing "exactly" how many cookies have been eaten - just level the pile off is my motto.

Sewing also makes me happy. I was shown a little something called "the pillow case dress" the other day at a work meeting and have since been a little obsessed with it. I found some awesome directions online of how to make them. Maelee and I even went and bought some ribbon today so we could make lots of new dresses for her with all the extra material I have laying around. Here are the awesome websites with very detailed directions that I found.

I am so like you now as far as the cookie thing goes! Baking is my new favorite hobby! Not sewing though--sorry, I got no talent there!
