Wedding Weeked Recap

Brandie and Steve are officially married! The weekend was a blast. It was a bit chilly but it's fun to be cold sometimes and a nice change compared to the last family wedding I attended (8 months pregnant and 110 degrees). We started the day with matching mother daughter bracelets because we are just so darn cute (wedding weekend slide show above). My sweet mom was able to take the morning off to watch Maelee in the temple visitor center while we attended the sealing.

A big highlight for our family this weekend besides having Brandie be a part of the family forever now is meeting Jan Pelton (she is with Frank in the picture above). Jan is one of my mil's (mother-in-law) bestest friends from high school. These crazy girls get together at least once a year and do some sort of wild feat and or party like it's 1970 something. For example while Frank was on his mission in Australia they went skydiving. I have heard a lot about her from my mil and it was awesome to finally meet this friend who means so much to Polly. She came down all the way from Colorado to shoot the wedding. She is an amazing photographer and voted one of the ten best of Colorado. She put up with all of our families obnoxious antics all weekend and I am sure she was saying "there's no place like home" before the weekend was over.
She took family pictures of all of us together and individual groups and I am so excited to see them.

So between a temple wedding, Brandie's awesome mason jar centerpieces, pink and black cake, ribbon flip flops, a tux with tails, Jan Pelton, 18 feet of sub sandwich, and a white picket fence it's official and Mr and Mrs Adams are enjoying a cabin honeymoon.
