Blessing #4 {Aunt's}

To be an Aunt, to have Aunt's, and to have sisters and sister in laws who are Aunt's to my children is a huge blessing that I realized this week more acutely than usual. I taught the lesson "Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Love Me" in nursery this week. After we named all the people in the children's lives who loved them lots; mom, dad, etc - I was trying to get the 2 1/2 year old's and younger to guess what two people love them more than anyone (the answer being Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ). One girl thought for a long time and screamed "AUNT CC." I have thought about it since it happened and I realized the unique bond that Aunt's have the potential to make with their niece's and nephews. I was an Aunt for 4 years before I had my own baby so it was extra fun to spoil my niece's and nephews and give them all my attention whenever they were around. Now that Maelee gets to enjoy her Aunt's (Amie, Brandie, Melissa, Jami, Karina, Megan) it is fun to watch. An extension of a mother really her Aunt's are and it is so special for her to have so many strong women for examples and that love her personally.
