The blessing for week 11 of 2009 is growth in our families first garden. I fear I picked a rather stinky spot for the garden due to lack of enough sun (our backyard is surprisingly shady) but some of those little seeds braved the shade and made their debut. Hopefully more will come later. I was told last night I needed to talk to the plants more so I will try that. Here's to you Waldo Peas, thanks for giving me that boost of gardening confidence and to the other seeds - hope to see you soon and/or live and learn!
