The blessing for this week is all about Frank and a good habit he has gotten us into. It has always been important for Frank to be on time to everything, especially church. Since we got married he always encouraged us to leave at least 30 minutes before the actual start of sacrament meeting. The habit has carried with us and thanks to Frank its going on 6 years, 2 of them with Maelee that we leave early for church. It's great to be on time and I'll be honest and say that its all thanks to Frank.
Chloe the dog is a thief. A dirty rotten food thief. Especially when it comes to kids. No matter how many doggy bottom swats and outside lock outs Chloe gets she still can't resist the easy target of a kid with some food in its hand. Maelee knows this about her dog and knows a few tricks on how to keep her edibles safe. Recently she has discovered a safe haven from Chloe. The bottom steps of the stairs. Chloe is terrified of our stairs, up and down she needs LOTS of motivation. So the picture proof below shows Maelee sitting on the bottom half of the stairs enjoying the frosting from a cookie in a Chloe thief proof environment.
Maelee has enjoyed coloring a lot lately. I found a brand new box of crayons (one of the most beautiful sights in the world if you ask me) and Maelee was almost as excited as I was to use them. Don't mind the bite off the lime green below.
This month with her TOBI treatments Frank finally convinced Maelee to let us use the elastic strap on her fish mask. So after the first week of Mom like a sucker trying to put stickers on Maelee's hands and read books with one hand while trying to convince Maelee to stay on my lap - Dad comes in and saves the day with the elastic strap. And to top it off Maelee let him do it, finally after many previous trys! Hands free never felt so good.

I wish we could be on time to church. Not sure if that will ever happen though.
