I thought about you a lot today Dad. It's been 3 years and a day since I last heard your voice. Something I realized today was that if you were on the earth right now you would definitely have a blog. It would most likely consist entirely of slideshows; family get-togethers, car shows, ASU games, family weddings, and grandkids. You were after all the slideshow king before they were ever as easy to make as they are now. You would have every latest gidget that Blogger came out with AND the weather report (for both Arizona and Minnesota), church and news links and other practical items on your blog. We visited Jack tonight and had a taco party. Now that I think about it I wish I would have called him Carl while I was there. Maelee showed you her Halloween costume and I thought about bringing Chloe but ended up leaving her home. Keep working hard, I love you and miss you. We'll just let everyone keep thinking that I wear boots because you were a "cowboy" instead of really just a man who was in love with a girl who wanted to marry a cowboy.

Made me cry, he looks like he was a wonderful man...and seeing how awesome you and your mom are, I know he was. If he were on earth and had a blog today, I'm sure I would ready it everyday!

You have such a wonderful way of writing. Your dad seems very fun loving! Don't you wonder what he had to share with Maelee before he said goodbye and let her come to you. No doubt there where tears of joy and sadness in his eyes when he had to say goodbye, but he knew what kind of mother she would be getting to lead her through this life. I'm sorry your Dad had to leave so soon. I know he's rooting for you on the other side!
