One of my favorite Disney movie scenes is in the cartoon Cinderella when Gus Gus (who happens to be my all time favorite Disney character, partly because I resemble him when I'm pregnant) is trying to get every piece of corn that he sees only to end up dropping it all. We have recently had to add on an extra 10 minutes of departure time to any out-of-the-house outing because pine cones to Maelee are like corn kernels to Gus Gus. She can't pass one up. The very necessary rules are no eating the pine cones and they must stay outside. So now any visitors to our home will notice a pile of pine cones by our front door and on the sidewalk by our car.
