Besides the exciting Sunday when this hunk of love was blessed at the beginning of the month of August - we had another long awaited day in our family!
The sign was ready, the pies were baked for the party, Maelee had her greeting practiced, the plane was early, but have no fear we could see Uncle Kurtis a mile away.
Frank and I get so excited to go to the airport. It's an exciting place and it was an exciting day to have my little brother come home from his mission!
Here are all of my brothers the shortest of which is six foot four inches tall.
To give a little more perspective on the height in my family my mother the lovely lady in the middle of this picture is six foot one.
Chloe really missed Kurt. He has always been one of her favorites.
Also in August...
Maelee got to have a fun afternoon swimming with her Aunt Melissa.
Uncle Jon held Charlie for the first time.
Frank successfully cracked Charlie up.

The rest of the month was busy and fun. Maelee spent it with at least one finger in her mouth at all times (a habit we are fighting hard to break), Charles spent the month covered in drool, Frank spent the month anticipating football season and enjoying a break from school, and I spent the month cutting paper - having orange juice tea set parties - and trying to make Charles laugh as hard as his Dad does.

August looks like it was AMAZING for your family. We especially like the picture of Uncle Jon with the worried look on his face holding Charles.
