MTC Thanksgiving

My little big brother (he is six foot eleven inches tall, last time I checked) left from the MTC (Mission Training Center) this morning for his mission in Minnesota. He was a little leery about having to be in the MTC for Thanksgiving but he said it was awesome. So I wanted to tell you what all the missionaries in the MTC did for Thanksgiving.

Kurt said they prepared 10,000 hygiene kits and then watched some videos about the church's humanitarian efforts. Here is a quote from his letter....

"They also showed us how they helped with flooding in Ohio, wild fires in California, Hurricane Katrina, and the Tsunami and pretty much everything else that has gone wrong in the last 10 years. They showed us how they've distributed food to people in Africa, and so many amazing things."
The missionaries also got to hear from Jeffrey R. Holland and his beautiful wife. Anyway I am just very proud of my little big brother and I wanted to talk about him. Elder Brown rocks!

Here are some pictures of Kurt on the night before he left for the MTC.
