President's Day Pic Nic

On President's Day the Tew's hosted a pic nic at their house to help Paige C pass off a goal. They have an awesome backyard and we got to play and have a fun time with our Blazzard Arizona cousins. Unfortunately Frank had to work and missed the fun of Maelee going down her first slide ride. Here is a play by play for you Frank. Thanks Amie for taking the pictures, and thanks Jon for asking Amie to take the pictures.

{Maelee geared up for the wild ride by doing some standing practice and smiling at anyone who would watch her}

{Next Gramy B helped her sit down and told her how exciting the slide was going to be. Porter cousins cheered her on in the background}

{Then Mom and her sucker joined Gramy B in the slide assistance since after all it was her daughters first slide ride. Porter cousins continue to provide moral support to their 7 month old cousin}
{Maelee then reluctantly goes down a slide for the first time in her 7 months of life while Gramy B and Mom with her sucker assure her she is having fun and enjoying herself. Porter cousins continue to cheer but start to wonder when their turn to go down is going to come}

{Maelee and Mom then try to both look at the camera at the same time to document this important day in Maelee history. What ends up happening is Mom makes a sucker smile while a picture is taken of the top of Maelee's head because she wants to play with the grass}
{Then finally Porter cousins get their turn down the slide to show their cousin that not only is it possible to go down the slide alone, but also go down the slide while holding a sucker}

{Maelee then recovers from her incredibly eventful and well documented first slide ride inside the house with Gramy B}
