I've said it before but I'll say it again, our little cocker spaniel Chloe puts up with a lot. She gets tackled (with love of course), her nose gets sucked on, her ears get pulled, her eyes get gauged, her paws get bitten. All of this just Maelee's way of saying "hey Chloe your my friend, and to show you how good of friends we are I will squeal with delight when I see you, try to put your snout in my mouth, and lay on top of you." Needless to saw, she is extremely patient and does well with children. The bad side to this that we realized this weekend is that Maelee is used to rough housing with dogs now. She hasn't been around a lot of other dogs so of course its hard for her to understand that not all dogs like to be loved on or will let her (or should let her) do the things that Chloe lets her do. So this weekend when we went to our good friend's the Dishman's house for a bbq she had a tough time not wrestling with these two beautiful dogs Shadow and Shelby.
