Some freedoms we enjoyed this marvelous 4th of July weekend were:
Watching the parade in Show Low and eating popcorn balls all the while in the shade (a very patient Frank held the umbrella for us the whole time)
Enjoying proud tractor papa's doing donuts down the Deuce of Clubs (in my dream insert my and Frank's faces under the umbrella below)
The freedom to wear a tutu all weekend and have to negotiate even to take it off for the bathroom.
Playing frisbee!
The freedom to eat as much sand as Maelee could shove into her mouth when no one was looking.
Enjoying every second on Papa's lush luxurious green lawn.
Eating at the one and only Trapper's.
Eating the only slice of pie that I would be willing to drive 3 hours to eat (chocolate cream pie courtesy of Trapper's).
What a blessing to live in America and have so much to be thankful for and celebrate!

Gosh, I wish I was in town on the 4th, but BOY I was having soooo much fun in Nauvoo and Hannibal that day. Hey, we ought to get together sometime and do something FUN!, like go out to eat or something.
What fun... Looks like Grandpa and Grandma Adams really love to have the grandbabies around.
How funny that Nora wore the same apples and stars shirt on the 4th of July! Glad you were able to have such an enjoyable time! Are you from Show Low? I was born in Holbrook (Not that I claim that too often!) And have family around the Show Low area.
Oh my goodness, that looks like too much fun! I think next year we need to go up there for the 4th. I just love R&P! You guys always look like you have so much fun together. It makes me miss you all! Let's hang out!

I'm so glad Maelee got to experience the home town 4th of July! I didn't even know you guys were in town, Brandt forgot to mention it, he was busy entertaining dozens of kids. I love the Tu Tu's, it makes me really want a girl with all of the frilly things. I hope to see you guys in the near future. We will call next time we are your way.
