This was a long weekend for all of us including Maelee. I needed to be in Show Low on Saturday for a sister in law's baby shower and at the last minute Frank needed to go into work so she got to spend the day at Gramy B's house.
Frank and I felt terrible because I was already going to be gone all day and what started as a last minute morning work meeting for Frank turned into an all day affair. So thank goodness that Maelee has a sweet and patient Gramy B & Uncle Selby to help her to be entertained and happy.
She started the morning with a wagon ride. She rode in style on layers of blankets with sippy cup in tow. Uncle Selby pulled the wagon while also leading two nephews on tricycles while Gramy B followed behind with an umbrella to keep Maelee in the shade! Royal treatment indeed! I wish we had a picture of that caravan.
Next I got a picture message from Uncle Selby of Maelee in the swimming pool with Gramy B. She had on a new swimming outfit (compliments of Uncle Selby) and Gramy B was thoughtful enough to keep her skin from being sunburned with the umbrella. 
Maelee usually takes a morning and and afternoon nap but she was having so much fun taking wagon rides, swimming, eating strawberries, jumping on the air mattress with stuffed animals, playing with her cousins, and not missing her parents at all that she didn't fall asleep until 2 or so in the afternoon. She literally crashed on the air mattress with her two favorite Gramy B stuffed animals and this is the next picture message I got on my phone.
By the time she woke up Frank was there to pick her up and her adventurous day at her Gramy B's house with her Gramy B, super fun Uncle Selby, Aunt Melissa, cousin Weston, and cousin Hayden was through.
Frank and I are so thankful to have family close. They love our Maelee so much and take such good care of her!

How was Megan's shower? And do you know if she is having a boy or a girl?
Also, that's cute, the part about her kissing the picture when he's not there in person!
