Blessing 30 {1/8 yard}

Maelee got some birthday money from relatives and I was trying to think of something fun for her to spend it on. Something she would really love and be excited about. Maelee loves my green and blue polka dot scarf. She loves to steal it off of my head and drape it around her neck. She inspired me to go to JoAnn's and find several silky/slinky/soft fabrics and buy 1/8 of a yard of each. 7 bolts of fabric cut and a tube of fray check later Maelee has 7 new scarves for under $11.

Honestly I think we are enjoying them equally as much together. Now I steal her scarves to put in my hair and get to bring myself back to the good ol' days when my sister and I spent hours "dressing up."

Can you tell which one is her favorite? She also likes Cookie Monster, Grover, and Harry Monster the best on Sesame Street - maybe a favorite color on the horizon?

In fact I like to pick out the fabric, find silky material in the bargain bin, use my JoAnn 40% off coupon on a $.90 item SO MUCH that I can see Maelee soon having the largest scarf collection of any 1 year old around. Here's to you 1/8 of a yard - I never realized your full potential 8 years ago when I worked at the fabric store and mostly found you annoying and for that I am sorry!
