5 years ago Frank and I thought it would be a good idea to get married a week after my birthday and 2 weeks before his, the result of this of course is a celebration overload in the month of March and April. I will be busy on my birthday this year so we celebrated it a few days early. Today Frank had taken the day off from work to work at the cannery in the morning so we had the rest of the day to party. In honor of two dozen years of life, and 5 years of marriage the best UPS shipment of my life came at high noon today, the slide show depicts the events better than I can. But lets just say, a long time dream came true when the UPS guy knocked on the door today. For any readers doing the math and shaking your head, yes I did get married a week after I turned 19. I was a child bride, get over it.
After the best UPS shipment of my life came and I put the treasured item in her rightful home on the kitchen counter, we got to go to Olive Garden for the sweet deal with the all you can eat salad/soup/bread sticks. Then I put on a circus show for Maelee in the back seat of the car on the way home so she would stay awake and take a nap in her bed and not her car seat. With sleeping baby and sleeping husband I went to work making my first batch of many batches of cookies with the best UPS shipment of my life. It was the most exciting batch of cookies I have ever made. Now although I can't use the "I'm burning so many calories from stirring up the dough that I can eat more of what I bake" justification anymore, it is worth it. Thank you Frank for the amazing two dozen year old birthday/5 year anniversary present.

Okay, that is so awesome, I am definitely in agreement that that IS the best UPS shipment of a lifetime. I hope that someday the UPS guy will come to my door with that same gift. What did you do to get UPS to bring that for you, maybe you have to know someone there or something. Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary.
